Nu chapter is dedicated to bettering the surrounding community and making the world a better place then when we found it.
Some of our signature philanthropy events include Toss for a Cause, Rock the CASA, Superhero Sprint 5K, and our most recent addition, Cupcakes for CASA, a talent show. Each event invites Hanover students, faculty, and the surrounding community to help raise money to support our local CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program.
Three years ago, Nu made a step towards strengthening its relationship with our local CASA branch, also known as the Southeastern Indiana Voice for Children, Inc. To do so, Theta reached out in an attempt to better our communication of needs for the organization. Now our Chief Maketing Officer, Paige Lennartz, is sitting on their Board of Directors and attends all meetings as a liason for our chapter to share our hopes for future philanthropic events. We are very excited about this new relationship and we can't wait to see how it improves our fund raising efforts!
Over the past semester, Kappa Alpha Theta has raised a total of over $500 for CASA and KDH Foundation.
